Sorry this letter has taken so long but it was nice to see you at the CUP event a few weeks ago.  I meant to tell you how well your girls played and it has been a pleasure to see how well they have developed over the years.  I will be watching them in the future and will help you in any way possible when it is time to get them to the right colleges.  We can also do some friendlies in the near future.

WCU vs Hoosiers 12:15pm at Ankeney 13.  Please be at the field no later than 11:30am.  Wear your all blue uniform.

Sunday:   WCU vs Perrysburg at 9:30am at Ankeney 2.  Please be at the field no later than 8:45am.  Wear your white jersey, blue shorts, and white socks.

Third Place In Top Division of Cup Invitational

Important soccer tournament against great competition....we tied 1-1 a multiple State Cup winning team who is the #1 team in Region 2 and ranked #18 in the country, all of the others were MRL teams.  Except for a poor effort the first game, the girls played outstanding soccer the rest of the weekend.

Paulo:  "Such games help our group to convince themselves that we can compete against any group out there.  It helps them to mature as soccer players and be more self confident of their abilities of playing soccer.  I was happy for them."

Elite Blitzes Club Ohio 8-2

Elite put together a solid effort in defeating fellow OSSL team Club Ohio 8-2 on Sunday.  Still playing without their rock Hannah in the middle, the girls moved the ball very effectively all game.

Goals:  Veronica 3, Claire 3, Taran, Alix

Claire scores the first goal of the game.

Ankles aren't supposed to bend that way.

Claire pushes it forward past the keeper and muscles it in the goal.

It was the Claire Show in the first half.

Taran pushes it forward before she blasts it over the keepers head.

Claire puts a pass across the front of the goal that Veronica deposits.
